Kingdom Hearts: The Lost Chronicles is a fictional story written by Darkheart3 and LegendAqua. It serves as a prequel to the series taking place fifty years before the birth of Xehanort, approximately 100 years before Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

The game follows the story of two young keyblade wielders, Cor and Yumi, who set out to stop the darkness from taking over.

Story

The Man In Black

Fifty years prior to the birth of Xehanort, the worlds are peaceful and light and darkness are totally balanced. Situated right in the middle of the Realm of Light is the biggest and most peaceful world of all: Crystal City.

Crystal City has two tribes that live harmoniously together: the Inferno tribe and the Whirlpool tribe. Every year a child from each has just turned 13 is selected to become one of the Royal Guard and study the path of either light or darkness. One year after the Choosing, two trainees by the name of Cor and Yumi were visited by a strange man in a black coat. The man told them that they were destined to do great things. With that he handed them both a strange weapon.

The Attack

Shortly after the man's departure strange creatures of darkness started appearing all over the city, feasting on the darkness in people's hearts. The Royal Guard were called to defend the city, and Cor and Yumi rushed off to their duty. No matter how hard they tried, their normal weapons just seemed to pass straight through the creatures. One of the creatures jumped out at Cor but vanished as Cor had summoned the weapon given to him by the man in black, and slashed at the creature. Seeing Cor's new strategy, Yumi too summoned her weapon, and together they fought off the creatures.

Immediately after Cor and Yumi's heroic feat they were summoned to see the King. But instead of the thanks they were expecting, they were accused of being black magicians and having bought the creatures there themselves. Despite their protests, Cor and Yumi were given three hours to get out of the kingdom.

On the very borders of the kingdom, Cor and Yumi stood by and watched as the Royal Guard shattered the barriers between the worlds through concentrated attack of light and darkness, fire and water. Just as they were about to move on, they were startled by a voice behind them. It was the man in black. He told them that he had given them the power of the keyblade, the only weapon that can destroy the Entities - the dark creatures that attacked the city - once and for all. He then showed them how to activate their keyblade armor and keyblade gliders, and sent them on their quest. On the way to the next world, Cor and Yumi were separated, and began to take their own paths.

Now users have the choice to choose which Keyblade wielder they want to read through or you could read up both.

Yumi's Story

[C] - The Financial District

Yumi lands in a world with what looks like a coin-shaped world, Yumi proceeds to land to take a look inside the new world she discovered.

As soon as Yumi lands, Yumi screams at the top of her lungs as she is seen inside a old-timers taxi cab going at full-force straight through a wall. However as the taxi reaches the wall, the taxi itself phases through the wall. Yumi completely fazed by this, talks to the taxi driver. "Excuse me...ummm where am I-", the taxi driver makes a heckled laugh and says "The Far East Financial District, step outside, girly". Yumi leaves the taxi and automatically a weird clown suited person talking to Yumi while transporting all over the place saying "Welcome to the Financial District, as you have a wonderful weapon there, it will now be your Asset", Yumi's keyblade then turns into a watery spirit with blue scales and blue horns. The weird man says "This is your Asset, Tsunamifall...your future depends on her, you fight Deals to earn money, the District will give you an "advance"...good luck..and don't lose...hehehehe...you'll pay dearly..young dealer". Yumi completely awestruck at both the new world and her Asset, Yumi tries talking to the weird man however she sees him vanished. A second later the weird man arrives to say that his name is Masakaki, then disappears again.

Yumi sees numerous Entities overrunning the Financial District and proceeds to eradicate them.....

As Yumi starts talking to Tsunamifall about what this place is, a boy appears and challenges Yumi to a Deal. Yumi accepts.

Yumi touches her Asset card and proceeds to order Tsunamifall to attack with Water Cannon Striker.

The boy's Asset misses the attack then proceeds to attack Tsunamifall by ramming her horns onto Yumi's Asset.

Yumi orders Tsunamifall to pull the horns out then punch the boy's Asset.

Tsunamifall does but then the boy's Asset counters and punches back.

Masakaki appears out of nowhere and says to Yumi "There's more attacks your Asset can do..or do you want to sell your Asset?"

Yumi replies....TSUNAMIFALL...

With that, Tsunamifall conjures a sphere of water around her making the boy's Asset to drown.

The boy shouts..

This causes Tsunamifall to take considerable damage as well brekaing her TORRENT attack...

With that the boy won against Yumi by a margin of 2%

The boy asks who Yumi is and Yumi introduces herself and wants to protect this world, the boy who calls himself Kimimaro Yoga, asks that his mission and Yumi's one is close...Yoga asks Yumi to help him as he sees Yumi as a potentially good partner, both in asset and her goals.

<<<<<<DAY LATER>>>>>

Yumi goes back to the Finanical District to from what Yoga says "Have you seen some of the people missing...children...entire distircts of people just vanishing?...if you have then best to help, a man called Mikuni is causing this..and well...Msyu says that if he contniues, our assets will die...if so come to the CENTRAL DISTRICT PLAZA".

As Yumi walks she sees another dealer fighting, she overhears the fight.

She realises that the man is Mikuni and the girl fighting him is from what Yoga told her, Yoga's semi-mentor.

She sees the fight and completely awestruck sees the girl split in half, and now...

Yumi sees a wolf with horns change into a beam going straight to....

Yoga appears.

Yoga talks to Mikuni saying that he'll stop this entire mess, by fighting him. He talks to Mikuni about how people looks to the future and Mikuni's sister wouldn't want him to do this, Mikuni however disagrees saying that he will always look to the present and this is the only thing he can do.

Yumi steps in and says "But it doesn't mean that there are other options, those options will take you to the future, stop your illusionary of a plan, MIKUNI!!!!!"

Both Yoga and Yumi touches their Asset cards..

Mikuni laughs saying "I have nothing left but to do this, if C does come here..I wouldn't give a damn even if it completely wipes out Japan, all I need is the present..Q!!!!!!!!!!"

There Q faces off against Msyu and Tsunamifall.

But all the while Yoga and Yumi fights against Mikuni.

Masakaki however sees the battles unfold and as to why he says that C coming here is no big deal, he becomes ecstatic about this prospect.

Msyu fights Q while Tsunamifall as backup, but Msyu says to Q that she loves being Yoga's Asset, all the good times and bad, she tells Msyu that money isn't all there is. Msyu & Tsunamifall starts glowing.

Over at Mikuni & Yoga & Yumi's battle, they fight it out with their DIRECT blades.

Yoga says to Mikuni that staying the present is just stupid and screams out....

Yumi defends Mikuni's attack and says "If the present is what you want, then take hold of it but don't let others suffer for it as well!!!!"

With this Q falls.

However the fight between Mikuni vs. Yoga and Yumi still stands. As Yoga tries to attack one last time, Mikuni says his courage a affable...Mikuni attacks but his DIRECT blade decreases...allowing for Yoga to attack Mikuni straight through.

Yoga asks Masakaki to reverse the flow of Midas Money...

Yoga talks to Mikuni saying that he'll see him int he future..Mikuni however weakly laughs saying "Sorry kid, I'm staying in the present" and disappears.

Yumi sees Yoga's Asset disappearing, as well as Yumi's own asset reverting back to a keyblade.

Yoga asks Yumi to have this for a keepsake...

Yumi says she will also look to the future and with that Yumi was whisked away from the [C] World.....

GOSICK - Sauville (1924)

Yumi sees a gothic like laced world....Yumi lands to take a look....

Without any warning Yumi's Keyblade Gilder malfunctions and crash lands near a tower.

Yumi reverts her Gilder to keyblade form and goes into and up the big tower.

There on the top floor she sees three people, one in gothic lolita dress, with long blonde hair, one with black hair and average build, the final one with absurdly weird blonde hair. The man with the weird hair points to Yumi and says in a loud voice "She's the culprit!!!!", Yumi confused on the situation confronts them asking what is going on, the weird haired guy introduces himself as Grevil de Blois as well as introducing the black haired person as Kujo, the lolita girl introduces herself as Victorique. Kujo explains that there was a case going on about Avril, saying the fake one must be somewhere. Victorique dullessly says to Grevil that this Girl (Yumi) cannot be the culprit as she looks nothing like the Avril, saying that Grevil is overthinking that the fake Avril has gone into disguise again. Yumi ponders but asks Kujo who the little girl is. Kujo says she's the greatest detective in all of Saubure..even though her work goes to Grevil though.

Yumi now getting the situation explores the grounds, before Yumi leaves, Kujo talks to Yumi about going with him to the old cellar.

Once there Yumi and Kujo opens the old cellar only the hear ghostly moans...Yumi begins to track where the ghostly moans comes from until Kujo realises that it's under the floorboards.

Yumi and Kujo dismantle the tiles and sees a secret hatch, there Kujo says that the person tied up here is the REAL Avril not the fake. Kujo immediately runs asking for Yumi to take care of the Real Avril, however instead Yumi also tails Kujo, not before asking Grevil to take care of the real Avril instead.

As Yumi sees Kujo going to the tower again, she sees Entities arising from the ground, there Yumi fought against them. As Yumi catches up to Kujo, she is stopped by a Giant Entity, looking similar to a Shinigami. She fights it and makes her way up the tower.

Yumi however not seeing Kujo, Victorique or Grevil...sees the "Fake" Avril with a knife, talking to herself saying "Ohh little fairy where are you??!?!?..HMMMPH...just as the myths are, there are no fairies up in this tower....now where is the TREASURE!?!?!". Yumi interrupts the Fake Avril's talk, and starts to duel.

As the Fake Avril loses balance in the staircase, she however regains her balance by using her knife as leverage, there she goes for the attack, not until Victorique up on the top floor starts throwing books at the Fake Avril finally losing her balance and topples down the staircase leaving her unconscious.

Victorique clues in why this Fake Avril would come here, and of what the treasure really is. "Allow me to share with you the truth which I've reconstructed using the pieces of chaos I've collected from the Fountain Of Wisdom. The Fake Avril was obsessed with books or more so myths, she came to the tower with Kujo here realising that I would be in trouble". Yumi asks Kujo why he left after figuring out the Real Avril was tied up, Victorique interrupts "Because this tower is well a library..full of ancient books on myths as well as most of the old era published books, now the Fake Avril was wanting the little Fairy's treasure, more precisely, this." Victorique holds out a ragged book "This book holds records of those people, those peoples ancestor's owned land, therefore this Fake Avril must have met the real Avril, she would have talked about her heritage and her going to own that land, so the Fake Avril knocked the real Avril unconscious and tied her up in the old cellar and told a myth about an old cellar ghost myth to everyone so that her cover wouldn't of been blown. With that she could fool anyone saying that she's the real Avril as she already knew how the real Avril looked like, as well as keeping the real Avril hidden, allowing her time to find the book and claim the land for her own.".

Yumi now getting the case, however asks Victorique one question "Well, why did the Fake Avril call you the little fairy?". Victorique answers "Because I'm the little fairy, the one who bestows people with wishes but none to me...ha ha ha...ironic isn't it, pfft there's no such things as myths, just dribble to scare kids". Yumi however starts rubbing her face against Victorique's cheek saying "Ohhh Victorique your so cute!!!!". Victorique proceeds to kick Kujo in the groin and asks Yumi to let go of her.

Kujo later gives Yumi a memento for helping with the case...

Yumi repairs her keyblade gilder and departs for the next world...

ENTER THE STEINS;GATE

Yumi goes to her next destination, a world filled with cogs and clocks within a grayed out city.....

Time Travel Post

Yumi lands to an old CRT TV pawn shop and sees a flash of lightning on the second floor, she then sees a bald man going up to the second floor.

Yumi investigates and goes up the second floor as well. Once Yumi goes up to the second floor she sees the bald man leaving disgruntled and sees a man in a white lab coat bruised from being punched. Yumi asks the man who he is he answers "I AM HOUOUIN KYOMA...AND I'm A MAD SCIENTIST!", Yumi sweat drops and replies "Mad........Scientist?". Another man on a computer says "It's just a bluff...he looks it but he's not". The two men starts bickering until Yumi touches the microwave. Hououin Kyoma instantly asks Yumi to not touch it as it's a time machine in progress.

Yumi awestruck by this suddenly hears Entities outside, there Yumi goes outside to fight the off, not until a girl appears helping her defeat them.

Yumi introduces herself, the girl introduces herself as "Suzuha", she then quickly starts texting, then carries on with her conversation to Yumi.

Later Yumi encounters more Entities roaming the city, until she sees a girl being attacked, she fends off the Entities, the girl calling herself Mayuri asks for her to go back to the CRT TV pawn shop with Yumi as an escort.

Yumi defends Mayuri as they make their way to the old CRT TV pawn shop.

Yumi however sees Mayuri go upstairs, she follows Mayuri upstairs only to feel a weird sensation, only to hear a sudden shockwave.

As Yumi opened the door....Mayuri had disappeared and Hououin Kyoma suddenly asking for where Mayuri went.

Yumi asks that she was right there, Kyoma however realizes something and drags Yumi out of the room.

Kyoma asks "Your on the same timeline...no no way...it worked...but Mayuri..."

Yumi replies "Same timeline?..as in world's magic?...well it doesn't affect me, Kyoma"

Kyoma suddenly laughs hysterically and says "You also have Steins;Gate don't you, well track Mayuri for me and me the MAD SCIENTIST WILL DEVELOP A TRUE TIME MACHINE!!!!"

Yumi does what Kyoma orders.

As Yumi searches the street, she sees a woman just looking at her phone the entire time, as well as a neko-waitress outside of a cafe.

Yumi finally finds Mayuri, however she is blocked by an enormous Entity, she proceeds to fight it.

After the Entity's defeat, it fades into the darkness, there Yumi asks Mayuri about Steins;Gate, Mayuri answers "Tuturu~!! Yumi...it's just Okarin, Okarin is Okarin right?, I don't mind it, cos I'm his captive, but don't worry he takes good care of me anyways, Yumi we should get back to Okarin!!".

Mayuri then gives Yumi a memento

Later she talks to Mayuri again back at the Kyoma's place, as well as Kyoma, Kyoma says to Yumi that she is always welcomed here, and if anything bad happened he will contact her....no matter what.

Yumi waves goodbye to everyone and leaves for the next world.....

Gunparade March

Yumi's gilder once again malfunctions and she lands in a desolate world.

Yumi starts seeing massive aliens, Yumi attacks every alien but dies within one blow...

Yumi confused as to how weak these aliens are, she stumbles upon a school.

Yumi however hears the most annoying conversation in her life, she sees two people arguing in the halls, annoyed by this summons her keyblade by accident and slices half the wall off.

Yumi however overhears some festival in about 2 hours....Yumi however feeling REALLY bored goes back to the outskirts and starts beating up all the aliens for fun.

Yumi however encounters an alien-like Entity, she fights it with ease, she remarks "What are these aliens made of?..idiocy?, seriously I CANNOT TAKE THIS WORLD SERIOUSLY.....<Yumi sighs>"

Yumi then heads back to the school to see it completely untouched, Yumi again remarks "SO many aliens yet the school is clean and not even partially destroyed...man is this world screwed up...".

Yumi later sees the annoying two people go into a classroom, in the classroom she sees children in seats. Yumi takes the last seat, she then starts seeing a children's puppet show...Yumi with a sweat drop and in a dull expression says in her mind "WHAT THE HELL!?!??!?!?..THIS WORLD IS SCREWED UP..WHERE'S THE SENSE OF URGENCY!!!!! AGRHHHHHH!!!!, IT'S LIKE I'm TAKING CRAZY PILLS, THESE GUYS DOESN'T KNOW THE SHEAR DANGER AND AND AND THESE GUYS START DOING THIS????".

Yumi sits up and leaves the room, quickly fixes her gilder and leaves the world with all haste.....completely annoyed with the wreck of a world she just visited.

Academy City

Yumi finds a proper world, and finds a world in which it has a robust skyline, she lands.....

As Yumi lands, an electrical burst completely malfunctions Yumi's Glider. As she plummets down to the ground, a small girl catches her. As Yumi awakens she says "Man, is this going to become a running gag or what?". However as she picks herself up, she realizes that she landed on a small girl with a nun's uniform. The small girl wakes up and without warning starts biting Yumi. Yumi tells the girl to stop it, however she says to for Yumi to help her find "Touma", she agrees out of annoyance but with a hint of admiration. The small girl introduces herself as Index Librorum Prohibitorum, or Index for short. Yumi introduces herself and tells where Touma might be, Index however starts complaining to Yumi about how Touma always doesn't tel her about stuff and that she can help as well. Yumi smiles at Index's veracity to her behaviour.

Later, as both her and Index walks around and Entities arises from ground, Yumi protects and defeats all the Entities until they come towards a big tower block, both of them mysteriously faints.

As Yumi wakes up she sees a miko (shrine maiden) as well as Index who is lying down on a table. Yumi tries to shout to Index to wake up however the miko girl tells her that Aureolus Izzard is coming and tells her to pretend to sleep. Yumi does. However when Yumi wakes up, a man with green hair says to Yumi's ear "Honos628", and automatically she comes under immense pain. The man with the green hair summons Entities around him to attack a guy with black hair and a guy with red hair, one of which is in the ground, the other up in the ceiling.

The man says to the black haired guy "I, Aureolus Izzard will bring back Index's memory, with the miko's blood...I will.". The black haired guy replies "Huh, you s-s-still don't get it, Index...Index doesn't need help, cos, cos...ARGGGHHAA!!!". The guy with the black hair taps Ymi and completely dispel the power/pain around her. She and the black haired guy then fights against Aureolus Izzard and his Entities.

After winning, Aureolus Izzard proclaims he will help Index no matter what, and causing pain by "shooting at him with 12 revolvers" and slicing off the black haired guy's right arm by slinging his sword. Yumi sees this but unable to keep consciousness. She sees the black haired guy slowly walking up to Aureolus Izzard, with Aureolus Izzard throwing everything's he's got, like throwing multiple guillotines and shooting swords, all which the black haired guy dodges. Aureolus Izzard now completely afraid of the black haired guy tries to run away, Yumi sees the red haired guy now with Index and then.....

She sees the black haired guy's missing right arm turned into a dragon's face...Yumi then loses consciousness.

As Yumi wakes she thanks Yumi for the help and that she's now found Touma, and also introduces the miko girl as Aisa Himegami. Yumi however goes with them to meet up with Touma.

She reaches the hospital room where Touma is in, however she let's both Index and Himegami to go on through. She overhears the conversation, until she goes through the door, however Index leaves chasing a cat, before Index chases after the cat, Index gives her a memento.

Yumi then goes on through to meet the black haired guy, Touma. Touma however shouts out "SUCH MISFORTUNE!!!!", she smiles and thanks Touma. She later finds Index around the hospital and says that she'll be leaving but might come back. Index tells her that she must because she wants to have fun with Yumi and Touma again.

Yumi later departs for the next world.
