Heart of a Legend is a fanfic made by LegendAqua. It is the 7th installment in the Kingdom Hearts main series, and is the 2nd of the series to be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and the second to also be released in PSP. Unveiled at E3 2014. It was released worldwide in April 9th 2015 selling over 5 million copies worldwide on all platforms.

The setting takes place 2 years before the events of BBS, LegendAqua or "LA" was tasked by Master Eraqus to defeat the strange occurrence of enemies called the "Voidless" spread throughout the "Ark of Time worlds. LA was trained under both Master Eraqus and Aqua to handle a keyblade, she however is not a Keyblade Master, from this sole mission, she can be a Keyblade Master, to defeat the Voidless.
The Ark of Time worlds are a departure from Disney worlds, instead these new worlds comprise of mainly Anime-type worlds.
Plot Arc Edit
LA was seen looking out at her room, a tower overlooking the summit, there she saw it, a meteor shower. Bored from her usual training, she left her room and went sparing with Aqua. Upon calling Aqua to spar, Aqua accepted. While Aqua and LA were sparing, Eraqus was overlooking at the two spar before leaving. LA and Aqua (while sparing) were talking about the other worlds out there, LA said "If there other worlds out there, I wanna save them all!", Aqua laughed and continued to spare, before Aqua and LA went back to their rooms Aqua said "*laughs* I think of you as my little sister, just LA, don't die out there....". LA humbly stunned at what Aqua said "Aye!".
The next day, Master Eraqus summoned LA, Eraqus told LA of a strange occurrence of creatures appearing in the Ark of Time worlds, and of the worlds "losing their time". LA accepted as Eraqus tells that this would be LA's final mission before she becomes a Keyblade Master. Before LA leaves, Eraqus tells that a companion from one of the Ark of Time worlds will guide LA, Eraqus tells LA that the companion is up in LA's room. LA leaves for her room.
Kon!?!?! Arc Edit
Upon getting to her room, a lion plushie jumped to LA's chest, however LA brought up her keyblade to her chest. The lion plushie then said "Hey! what was that for!!!, I needed comfort ;(", LA responded "URUSAI!!!, great I got a perverted plushie toy as a guide, ohhh where's a cricket when you need him!". The lion plushie then introduces himself as Kon, however soon enough both LA and Kon starts arguing. Aqua breaks up the fight and then sees LA and Kon off of the Land of Departure.
Death Meister Weapon Academy Arc Edit
La and Kon crash landed on a huge building, Kon then shouted "Huh, a fully licensed Keyblade Rider, my plushie behind, you couldn't drive for the wayfinder in you", LA responded "URUSAI, you perverted plushie, you couldn't even drive the Keyblade Rider,and anyways I have to tag along with you is not the best walk in the park either, baka plushie". LA and Kon then wondered into the large building until white half-transparent creatures with red eyes appeared, LA however saw 3 kids fending themselves, LA joined the fray and beat the creatures, along with the 3 unknown others. After the fight LA greeted the 3 others named Maka, Soul and Kid. The students talked about weird creatures never seen before that couldn't "release souls", and were attacking the students and teachers at the school. LA and Kon wondered until they shouted out "THE VOIDLESS ARE HERE ALREADY!!!", LA then told the 3 about the Voidless. After they talked Kid told them that his father maybe in danger from the Voidless. There LA, Maka, Soul and Kid went into the Academy.
After going around the Academy's classrooms finding and defeating more Voidless, LA found a key to Kid's fathers room, however the passage leading to the room was blocked by a huge Voidless called "Witch-Soul Eater", a demonic soul with witch eyes floating in mid-air, there LA, Maka and Kid faced against Witch-Soul-Eater. After it's defeat, LA and the gang left for Kid's fathers room. There LA saw Kid's father, LA said "He's Death!?!?!?, WHY COULDN"T HE HAVE KILLED THE VOIDLESS!!!!". Death replied "I wished I could kind stranger however the room I'm in doesn't allow me to leave, and even then I didn't have a weapon to protect against those terrible creatures, ohh as a token of my gratitude, I'll give you this as a reward". LA received a new Keyblade named "Soul Scythe". LA and Kon then departed DMWA, however LA was worried that other worlds are in danger.
Phantomhive Residents Arc Edit
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh!!!" *crash*.
"Again bluebird?..seriously I'm too soft for this" said Kon, "URUSAI!, I..umm...hello?" said LA, Kon confused looked up and saw a butler and 3 others along with a boy with an eyepatch. LA and Kon both scared hugged as to what they would do to them. However the butler merely introduced himself as "Sebastian Michaelis", and also introduced Ciel Phantomhive, the Lord and the Queen's guard dog. "Queen?" LA responded, Sebastian then replied "Yes, he helps solve mystery that may upset the Queen of England, and he does it so well, right my Lord?", Ciel merely said "Sebastian, the ceiling", then he left. LA, Kon and Ciel's servants all saw how fast Sebastian fixed the roof, all in disbelief, LA told Sebastian about any sightings of Voidless, Sebastian said that "some transparent creatures have appeared in the mansion, however they haven't appeared anywhere else, as a precaution to not make the others citizens panic, My Lord and I will see through the mansion to find out where they are and eradicate them", From this LA decided to join them, however Kon wanted to stay with Ciel's servants, LA replied "Good enough for me!".
As Ciel, Sebastian and LA started searching around the mansion, LA started feeling a weird vibe towards Sebastian. LA began talking to Sebastian about Voidless, then Ciel then.....demons. LA startled that Sebastian was a demon backed away from Sebastian, Ciel told Sebastian that he's gonna find the strange creatures and that he'll wait for them there, LA and Sebastian started to fight, however Sebastian kept getting hit by LA, LA confused as to why Sebastian didn't attack, was disturbing her, before LA could attack again, LA and Sebastian heard 4 voices coming from the kitchen. Sebastian said "Hmm seems more of those "Voidless" are approaching Ciel's servants and that lion, LA let us continue after we dealt with this, as I need to be back with my Lord soon", LA still annoyed accepted and along with Sebastian ran down to the kitchen.
Upon getting to the kitchen LA along with Sebastian fought 3 strong Voidless, after the Voidless' defeat, Kon tells LA and Sebastian that he saw Ciel go into the basement, until the Voidless appeared in the safe-room, Kon also said "I want to come with you again LA, to your soft-", LA stops Kon from speaking and tells Sebastian to go to the basement with her and Kon, Sebastian accepted.
Upon arriving down at the basement, Ciel is seen with an enormous Voidless called "Red Minute", LA and Sebastian bravely fought against the Voidless. Once the Voidless had been striked down, Sebastian and Ciel give them their thanks, however before LA and Kon leaves, LA wanted to fight Sebastian fair and square. As LA and Sebastian fought, LA talked to Sebastian about being a demon-butler, he merely says "I serve my master no more, no less, as I am one hell of butler", LA stops the duel, and says "You'd better, Seb", Ciel gives LA a new keyblade called "Phantomhive Curse". LA departs to a new world.
Confrontation with the Time-Eater ArcEdit
As LA was crossing through the Lanes Between, for some odd reason her Rider was going into auto-pilot leaving LA and Kon to see where they will land. A world appeared however meteors appeared, LA dodged all the meteors and made it to the unknown world. There LA came across a figure with a transparent cloak with dials around his arms, before LA could talk...
Keyblade ?.... said the figure
LA shouted back "Are you the one behind this!", waving her keyblade at the mysterious figure.
The figure was silent until he brought up his weapon (twin fluorescent daggers)...then he said..
Death to those with time
LA and the mysterious figure then fought out in the deserted plain.
Upon the figure losing he merely said...
'The Dark Times are upon you, Keyblade master, you shall never have time...ever
The figure then disappeared, however before LA or Kon could do anything, they were teleported away from the unknown world.
Doom Sec Arc Edit
LA woke up along with Kon and seeing a man before them, he asked LA
Have you seen a mysterious transparent cloaked man?...
LA replied "Yes, but how are you?"
He replied "My name is of no importance, now forget I was ever here, I'll meet you soon Keyblade Master"
The mysterious ally then vanished in a bloom of cherry blossoms.
LA still confused about what was going on, looked around the area, she saw nothing but a huge cube in the sky, she saw several people under a ridge fighting some demons, LA then told Kon to hold on as she using her Rider went into the huge cube.
Once again LA crash landed, however she had landed on 3 people as well...
LA greeted and apologized to the group of people (Allen Walker, Lenalee Lee, Chaoji, Lavi). Allen wondered how LA came here as there would be no exit or entry in the Ark, LA stuck made an excuse saying that she accidentally appeared here. LA joined the group and came to a door, before Allen could open the door, LA fainted.....
Seconds Seconds before your Death
As LA woke up, she woke up in a weird dimension, as she roamed around, a figure appeared saying
"Hiz Keyblade Mastez, I'm Doom Sec, one of sevenz of dez Darkz Timz, my Mastez told me thatz your ruining hiz planz, thatz won't doz, TIMZ to DIEZ!!"
Doom Sec then altered the arena to a huge maze-like structure, Doom Sec said..
"I'm notz going eazy on youz, firstz, get throughz the mazz whilez underz the timz limit before I really fightz youz", LA with no choice went through the maze.
After going through maze, Doom Sec and appeared with what looked like white fragments, Doom Sec then said..
"Yourz timz in secondz are upz HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAA!!!"
LA and fought Doom Sec.
After the defeat Doom Sec wounded disappeared saying "Itz notz overz yetz Keyblade Masterz!!!", then the dimension LA was in broke....
Noah's Ark arc Edit
LA woke up and saw Allen, Lenalee, Chaoji and Lavi, LA bewildered on meeting one of the Dark Times brushed it off and said that she was fine. LA and co. went through the door to see a little girl and a man in a vast room.....however before anything else, the man stood up and said "Voidless rise", then a huge monster with protruding claws appears, LA tells Allen and co. to take cover, however the little girl then traps Lavi, Chaoji and Lenalee in a transparent box, the man introduces himself a Tyki Mykk, the girl then also introduces herself as Road Kamelot. Tyki talks to LA about "The keyblade Master is here, in our world, I'm touched, now I'll take that weapon of yours and bring it to the Millennium Earl, D.Slicer, slice her to shreds!!!".
After LA fights D.Slicer, Road then talks to LA "Eh..Keyblade Master..this will be interesting, Tyki have your fight with Allen, I'll take care of the Keyblade Master, for good!.
The suddenly LA opens her eyes and saw a baron yet swampy wasteland, a weird Road appeared saying "If you beat me, I'll free Lenalee and Chaoji, however if I win, you'll die!.
As LA fought against Road through the weird realm, Road keeps dodging LA's attacks until......
Master Eraqus appears, telling LA "A weak apprentice", Aqua then appears saying "pitiful friend, Ven was better than you, Terra was better than you, I WILL BE BETTER THAN YOU!", LA shouted "Stop it!, I'm not pitiful, I'm not weak!, STOP IT!", however more copies of Master Eraqus and Aqua appears and starts taunting LA, until LA screams......
In the real world, Road sees LA's mind destroyed, there she merely smirked.
A younger version of LA appears before LA saying "If you are weak, accept it, Keyblade Master is a goal that's impossible, Aqua will be Master, your friend".
LA replied "I'd thought you'll appear....."
LA then attacks all Aqua's....
LA continued "Road......"
Road bewildered said "How did you?"
LA replied "For one, there was more Aqua's than Master Eraqus', secondly the other me talked about Aqua, thirdly now that you are here Road. I can finally attack you normally!!!"
There LA and Road fought inside LA's mind.
After Road was defeated, the realm started to disappear, there LA opened her eyes and saw an unconscious Road then she rallied to attack Tyki, after both Allen and LA attacked Tyki, Road's boxes keeping Lavi, Lenalee and Chaoji disappeared. Lenalee and co. congratulated Allen and LA, with Kon trying to get a hug from Lenalee, which comically made LA grab Kon before that happened saying "Don't even think about it baka plushie". At that moment a bright light appeared before LA and Kon and suddenly they were teleported.....
Soul Society Arc Edit
Upon waking up LA couldn't see Kon anywhere however she saw a battle between 2 swordfighters, as the impact caused LA to move away from the battle, one of the fighters fell, automatically a man appeared before her saying "Come with me Keyblade Master, we need to talk.
LA and the man disappeared in a bloom of cherry blossoms.
The man introduced himself as Byakuya Kuchiki, and said to LA "Listen, the stability of worlds are crumbling, the Dark Times are heading here next, and they want you, no to be precise, kill you, I will aid you however I first need to tend to matters in this world, my world first, so lay low and don't be seen, your in the 6th Division HQ ok?, so stay here Keyblade Master for the time being".
LA grumbled about the situation however accepted what Byakuya said to her. Byakuya left leaving LA to stay where she was.
LA waited, however some time after another person entered the room, he was bald and had bandages all over him, he asked LA "Ahh your a wounded as well huh?, well no worries girly, I'll protect..errr....I haven't seen you before?", LA hesitated on what to do in front of him, LA said "Ahh haha I'm from the 6th Division, newly recruited", the man said "A new recruit! Congr- wait if your a new recruit then how come there was no news about this?.....wait..your a RYOKA!!!!", LA stunned at what the man was saying saw the man bring out a sword and said "Split" (裂けろ)", LA then armed herself with her keyblade and fought against the mysterious man. After the fight however, Byakuya appeared before the man (who's name is Ikkaku Madarame) and told him to go back to the 4th Division barracks. Ikkaku left, Byakuya then said "I SAID TO LAY LOW KEYBLADE MASTER!", LA replied "Gomensai gomensai gomensai!!!!", then suddenly a huge crash landed where LA and Byakuya was.
The person who landed said "Wisdom..time...Hours...til your death Keyblade Master".
The person then changed the realm LA was in.......LA said "Another Dark Times..."
However Byakuya was also with LA, Byakuya then said "Let's take this guy out!". LA nodded and said "Aye!".
After a long battle, he introduced himself "Oblivion Hour, Byakuya...your still saving the worlds I see, pitiful. Keyblade Master, you will die by our hand, hmmm another Dark Time will come soon, however it's time for you and Byakuya to split".
Rendezvous Arc Edit
LA woke up back in the Land of Departure, she woke up in a bed with Aqua and Eraqus, she wanted to find where Byakuya was, however Aqua stopped LA from leaving.
Aqua explained to LA "We found you out on the Summit, talking about the Dark Times and Byakuya, we took you back but you were severely injured, we need for you to rest up and stay here for a while".
LA said "No, I can't, the worlds need me and what's worse, I would have now left a comrade out in the field, and add to that the Dark Times are trying to kill me, they might get you to, I need to leave and face them to end this!".
Eraqus then said "No, you can't yet, the Dark Times are too powerful. Stay here for the time being, for our sake LA".
LA hesitated a bit but then asked Eraqus "Who are the Dark Times anyways?".
Eraqus then explained "......The Dark Times is a group of hooded people, well not people, corrupted times who was manifested by Paradox Pandora, their leader. The Dark Times wants each worlds' time, so that they can freeze the time of that world and use the time as some source, I haven't delved deep into this matter however Yen Sid says that if Paradox Pandora uses this "time", devastating consequences will occur if his plans go into fruition.".
LA wondered, then said "Fine, I'll stay here for the time being". Eraqus also gives LA a keychain "Shinigami's Bankai" to LA, saying to LA that he found the keychain inside LA's palm. LA thought that Byakuya must have given her the keychain, LA then rests.
The Dark Time HQ
Doom:Ehz.....Byakuyaz iz nowz onz thez scenez Hour?....oooohh morez killingz for mez!
Dayspring:Urusai Doom, he's my prey, so how was the fight against those two?
Hour:........pitiful, not worthy of my hours quite frankly..
Week:Ahhhhhh...urusai all of you, at least you went on some missions, Master won't even let us out for some fun...this laying about is no fun at all..
Pain:...I concur, though I don't care....quit wasting my minutes
Dayspring: Eh?..Week?...I haven't seen this side of you before, wanting some missions..heheheheee....your just lazy to try and talk to Fortnight HAHAHA!
Week: Baka... Dayspring...I'd have him come to me tha-
Fortnight: So Week, Pain, you want missions eh?...I have one then...track and if need to kill the Keyblade Master then, she's back in her home world, Master has just informed me, also Dayspring and Doom, don't you have to go to your jobs as well?
Dayspring and Doom:Urusai...we're gonna stay here until Week and Pain come back.
Fortnight:.......................
Week:Hehehehe.....this will be fun eh Pain, it's our time to take the stage!
Pain:..........Let's go.
Back at the Land of Departure
LA:Arghhhh..I hate this doing nothing..I'm going for a walk.
Aqua:Let's go together!
LA:Sure!
LA and Aqua made it to the summit until.......
Smoke fogged the screen with 2 figures appearing before LA and Aqua, LA then saw them....2 figures in hoods, one of them said "Your mine Keyblade Master!". LA and Aqua armed themselves, the other said "Mission confirmed, kill the Keyblade Master", it was a 2 on 2 battle LA and Aqua vs. Ixa Week and Minute Pain.
After the fight Week told them that this isn't over and this is a warning to stay away from the Ark of Time worlds, however before LA could say anything week changed her arm into a laser and tried to fire at LA, however Aqua block LA, hurting Aqua trying to protect LA, LA raging in anger shouted until a blue aura appeared around her she then said "WhY YOU DARK TIMES, I'LL KILL YOU!, YOU YOU WILL BE CRUSHED, I DON'T CARE, I'LL KILL YOU RIGHT HERE AND NOW, JUST DISAPPEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", from this LA created a force field whilst sending shockwaves around both her and Ixa Week, then started another battle with Ixa Week, however with LA's anger Week was easily defeated. LA still traumatized by what Week had done, started destroying parts of the summit, Pain disappeared from the area, as Week started to fade away. LA's anger didn't stop not until a bloom of cherry blossoms appeared and struck LA.
Return to Soul Society Arc Edit
As LA woke up she saw Byakuya as well as Kon, Kon appeared to have been worried about LA as he was crying, Byakuya then said "I came to your home world, as I had located you, firstly I congratulate you for beating one of the Dark Time however your anger nearly destroyed the entire area, I struck you so that it wouldn't happen, before taking you here, I saved a young woman and she's now back with her master as well, you need to rest first then we need to put an order to my world first then I will join you to defeat the Dark Times together, rest LA".
LA rested for a few hours then talked to Byakuya....
Byakuya said "It seems Voidless and Dark Times keep coming here, seems like a distraction to keep me away from you, I think we need to defeat the Voidless and also stop one of the Dark Times here, my info tells me a hooded man is doing some strange magic, that's our clue, he's at the top of Sōkyoku Hill, however I got wounded in a battle with a ryok- I mean Ichigo...a shinigami..tsk...anyways let's go"
LA wondering about this "Ichigo" left for the Hill.
LA and Byakuya fought against countless Voidless including one huge Voidless called "Illusionist Aiz" before reaching the Hill, there they saw the hooded figure.....Byakuya said "I'll have you killed right now Dark Times..."
The figure then said "OoooooOoohz..figuredz outz my planz eh Byakuya Kuchi-chanz...wellz..I'mz notz going easyz this timz especially to youz Keyblade Masterz"
The figure then revealed himself as Doom Sec, then the realm changed again with LA and Byakuya still in the distorted realm.
Doom then said "Dayspringz gonnaz hatez me for killingz you Byakuya soz, I'mz going to splitz youz up with my preyz here, the Keyblade Masterz willz diez myz handsz HAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!"
Byakuya then disappeared leaving LA to fight Doom Sec once again.
As Doom Sec faded with his last breath he said "Dayspring Death is gonnz killz youz allz HAHAHAHHAHAAHHAAA!!!!"
LA's realm then broke....
LA then saw Byakuya lying there beaten up and lying unconscious. LA brought Byakuya to the 4th Division barracks to treat Byakuya, one of the nurses said "He's taken major damage, he'll recover soon", LA now worried about both Byakuya and "Dayspring".....Byakuya started to speak "There are other worlds out there that needs help, this world's matters are cleared, LA protect the other worlds as well, once I recover, I'll find you....". LA now determined to save the worlds for Eraqus', Aqua's and Byakuya's sake left Soul Society with Kon.
Death Notes Arc Edit
LA and Kon landed safely on top of a building, Kon then said "Best landing ever LA!", LA replied "yeah...sure", LA then looked down and saw a hundreds of people down on the ground, however one person differed from everyone else, something flying was following him, LA then grabbed Kon and ran to where he was going... LA however encountered a group of people, including one distrusting figure. LA then said "Umm..hehe.....sorry to intrude but I saw some kind of err...how do I say this?..Shinigami-ish creature somewhere", the distrusting figure said "No...impossible....you who are you?", LA said "I err...just a passerby?....." (LA also shut Kon's mouth), the figure then said "I am L, obviously you have never heard of me, which is a plus, these people are helping me to catch a person only known as Kira, what you just said gives us proof that Shinigami's exist, it also seems that there are 2 Kira's, whether or not what you said was true or not, I think you could help us?", LA flustered said "......errr.....sure???".
LA was then questioned by L about this "Shinigami", what it looked like, who was with him etc.... however LA vaguely remembers who was with the Shinigami. A day after the interrogation, a breach was heard that an unknown monster had entered the premise, LA went to check it out, as LA fought against the barrage of Voidless appearing, she finally saw the monster, a humanoid Voidless with a book, LA fought against the Voidless and won.
The next day, L then asked LA to team up with Light(the new recruit) of the Special Task Force to search through the Osaka region of signs of Kira, L also told LA to keep an eye out for Light. During the search LA tagged along with Light through Osaka, while trying to defeat more of the Voidless appearing secretly (mission).
LA unable to track and destroy Voidless at the same time told L, whether they know something called the "Voidless", L replied "I've got enough trouble with Kira, I don't need another matter that I have to fix later.". LA came down to the main floor of HQ until another similar humanoid Voidless appeared and fought it. After LA destroyed the Voidless, LA now desperate on leaving this world to stop the Voidless appeared had left for the next world.
Dayspring's Debut Arc Edit
As LA was going through the Lanes Between, she saw a hooded man, before she know it she was being fired on by dark bullets, the hooded man then revealed himself as Dayspring Death, he said "OoOooooOooh, the Keyblade Master, time for a taste of by Time Death Shots!!". After LA had defeated Dayspring Death around the Lanes Between he said "Hehehehe..I haven't lost yet Keyblade master!, soon the time will be ours and destruction is all that is eminent!!!!", Dayspring then disappeared. LA then went into the next world....
