This is the walkthrough for Atlantica as featured in Kingdom Hearts II, as well as its Final Mix version. Upon visiting, Sora and his friends first had to recall how to swim, after which they were invited by Sebastian to partake in a concert, with the additional hope that Ariel would also partake as she appeared distracted recently.

Completing the world also grants you the bronze trophy and achievement Kindred Spirits in the 2.5 ReMIX version.

Walkthrough[]

Follow the on-screen instructions to swim around, and approach Flounder to finish the swiming tutorial. Next, Sebastian will introduce the musical minigame's mechanics, which requires you to time a button press with a rapidly ticking down timer. If you are too early, or too late, you will receive a 'Bad' rating. If you are right on time you receive a 'Good' or an 'Excellent' score, depending on your timing. Sometimes two timers may appear at once, but you will only have to press the corresponding button once. Talk to Sebastian to partake in the Swim This Way musical.

Swim This Way[]

The first episode's musical requires for you to finish with at least one music note, which you gain upon receiving an Excellent score. There is a limit of five notes that you can hold at once, and each Bad score will remove a note. There are a total of twenty timer events in the song, so there is plenty of room for error. Upon success you will need access to Magnet magic to play the second episode, which is gained by defeating Oogie Boogie in Halloween Town's first visit.

Part of Your World[]

The second episode requires for you to finish while having achieved a combo of five Excellent scores. Although there are only fifteen timer events, a lot of them are doubles which will actually count for two at once. This song also introduces an additional button which you need to press, for a total of two. Upon completion you will need a Drive Gauge of at least five to be able to access the next episode, which you attain after defeating the Hostile Program in Space Paranoids' first visit.

Under the Sea[]

The third episode requires for you to finish while the Ariel figure in the gauge on the right has risen above a certain limit, which is done by achieving a Good or Excellent score, whereas Bad makes it sink instead. There are 22 timer events, all of which require only a single button type, but several of them are from Sebastian who is to be ignored. At least some of the ones depicting Sebastian will actually switch to depict Ariel with a only a split second remaining, forcing you to act fast. Upon completion you will need Magnera magic to access the next episode, which you acquire after defeating the Grim Reaper in Port Royal' second visit.

Ursula's Revenge[]

The fourth episode requires for you to finish while having reduced Giant Ursula's health to 25% or less. There are nineteen button press events, but only eight of them are timed. The other eleven are button mash events that require you to rapidly smash the required button, which in turn will rapidly deal damage to Ursula, to a far greater degree than the timed ones. Upon completion you will need Thundaga magic to play the next episode, which you attain after defeating the Groundshaker in Pride Lands' second visit. You will also receive the Mysterious Abyss Keyblade.

A New Day is Dawning[]

Event Score
Good Excellent
Normal 1,000 1,500
Button mash 100 150
Sebastian 1,500
Ariel 2,000 3,000
Switch 3,000 4,500

The final musical requires for you to finish while having achieved a score of at least 30,000 points. There are a total of thirty events, which includes a mix of all the previous songs' mechanics, and a total of three different buttons to be pressed. Notably those depicting Ariel are worth a lot, especially when they have switched from depicting Sebastian. The event preceding King Triton, and during his appearance, are also worth far more than the rest; 10,000 and 15,000 for a Good and an Excellent score, respectively. Completing the minigame grants Sora the Blizzaga spell, as well as an Orichalcum+.

Note that Jiminy's Journal requires you to replay each minigame, although you can simple start each song and then immediately quit for it to still count.
