The Star Seeker (スターシーカー Sutā Shīkā?) is a Keychain for Sora's Keyblade and Mickey's Keyblade that is found in Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts coded, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

It has been shown in trailers for Birth by Sleep that this is the Keyblade that King Mickey used while apprenticed to Yen Sid. King Mickey also wields this Keyblade within Kingdom Hearts coded, and can equip it within Mission Mode in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

[edit] Appearance

The guard appears to be two shooting stars. The blade is blue and decorated with stars, while the end is a crescent moon and star. The key chain design is a crescent moon. The Keyblade's name seemingly references Mickey and Sora's journeys to the various worlds, which are seen as stars. also make a reference to the worlds in the universe of Kingdom Hearts, since stars refer to the worlds.

The Star Seeker is part of a group of weapons associated with Yen Sid's tower, along with the corresponding staff and shield. These weapons are decorated with crescent moons and stars, and are the second set of weapons available to the party.

[edit] Acquisition

In Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories, the Star Seeker can be obtained in the 13th floor (Castle Oblivion) using a Key to Rewards card - that too, as a Reverse/Rebirth Completion Bonus (or a Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix completion bonus in the Japanese version of Re:Chain of Memories).

In Kingdom Hearts II, Sora obtains the Star Seeker after Flora, Fauna and Merryweather give him new clothes, as well as the ability to wield two Keyblades at once while in Valor Form. The Star Seeker is not initially available for Sora to use in Standard Form, since it is set within the sub-weapon slot for Valor Form. As Sora must have a Keyblade in that slot at all times, the Star Seeker cannot be switched out until he obtains a third Keyblade.
