The Metal Chocobo (メタルチョコボ Metaru Chokobo?) is gained by defeating Cloud in the Hercules Cup in the Olympus Coliseum in Kingdom Hearts. It has one of the longest, if not the longest, reaches of all the Keyblades in the game. In terms of effectiveness, it lies just slightly above the Pumpkinhead because of its slightly longer reach.

The blade represents Cloud's Buster Sword in Final Fantasy VII. The keychain is in the shape of a chocobo, which is an animal used to ride on in the Final Fantasy series. This could also be a reference to the Final Fantasy VII in-game joke that Cloud's hair resembles that of a chocobo.
