The Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Official Strategy was published by BradyGames, and written by Dan Birlew and Bryan Stratton. BradyGames also published the strategy guides for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts II.

The Official Strategy Guide includes details on all characters, the new Nintendo DS game play, detailed 2-D maps for every area, a full Story Mode Walkthrough, all of the challenge missions, all panels and abilities, a panel synthesis section, and a complete bestiary; called the "Enemy Profiles". The Enemy Profiles show the stats of an enemy and different strategies to defeat it. It also includes an exclusive foldout, the last guide from BradyGames to include a foldout thus far.

FlawsEdit
- In Mission 45: Collect hearts, instead of a Unity Badge, the page displays an Ordeal Badge instead.
- In the Enemy Profiles section, when describing Saïx's resistance to magic, instead of listing numbers, it says "Ignite".
