Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX[3][4] is an HD collection of two games from the Kingdom Hearts series. It features Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and a full cutscene collection from Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days for Sony's PlayStation 3 platform. Both games have upscaled HD graphics and Trophy support and the cutscenes from 358/2 Days are upscaled in HD as well. It launched in Japan on March 14, 2013, and is slated to launch on September 10, 2013 for North America, September 13, 2013 for Europe and September 12, 2013 for Australia. Jesse McCartney has been confirmed to been voicing lines in the recording studio for 1.5 HD ReMIX.[5]

A recent trailer reveals a change in the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix gameplay [6]. In the original and Final Mix versions of the game, the command menu had 4 commands: Attack, Magic, Items, and a fourth context-sensitive slot that varied depending on what the player had targeted, where they were, etc. The command menu now consists of "Attack", "Magic", and "Items", while the 4th context-sensitive command has been replaced by the introduction of Reaction Commands that appear when it is possible to perform them. They are triggered by pressing the Triangle button, just like in Kingdom Hearts II. A 4th command slot is still present and is used for "Summons", a command which was originally located under "Magic" as a sub-menu. [7] Most of the worlds from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix appear in this compilation game. These worlds are Destiny Islands, Disney Castle, Traverse Town, Wonderland, Olympus Coliseum, Deep Jungle, Agrabah, Monstro, Atlantica, Halloween Town, Neverland, The 100 Acre Wood and Hollow Bastion, amongst others.
