Glut (サメ, Same^?, lit. "Shark") is a great white shark from the Atlantica world. He first appeared in Disney's The Little Mermaid.

Glut is normally found swimming around the sunken ship area of Kingdom Hearts. He is considered an enemy at first, as you can escape fighting him, but later he has to be defeated to enter Ursula's lair. He is quite annoying as he attacks randomly, and can do a great deal of damage.

Glut has only 200 HP, which is 100 away from a full health bar, so he is relatively easy to defeat. He is more of a burden enemy than a real threat.

• Glut is neither named nor mentioned in the actual script for Kingdom Hearts. He is simply called "shark" in the Ultimania and Bradygames guides^[1][2], but its name is given as "Glut" in official Disney records.^[3]

• Glut is one of only eight enemies who do not have entries in Jiminy's Journal (the others being AntiSora, Bit Sniper, the Cave of Wonders Guardian, Chernabog, the Crank Tower, Shadow Sora, and World of Chaos).
